Overview

The modular gas insulated switchgears designed to be used in the distribution center of the distribution company or the distribution center of the consumer (such as large industrial facilities) that receives its energy from the MV level, which forms the main backbone of the MV network, which is located on the opposite side of the transformer substations that convert high voltage to medium voltage operated by the transmission company (TEİAŞ in Turkey) and the lines coming out of it.

General Information

It is manufactured for 12-24-36 kV rated voltage, maximum 3150 A switching, 3150 A main bus rated current and 31.5 kA short time fault current.
All switching elements are located in a tank made of chromium nickel (Cr-Ni) alloy stainless steel sheet filled with SF6 gas and main busbar connections are provided with solid insulated technology.
They are modular gas insulated switchgears designed for step-down transformer centers, MV/MV centers and transmission network centers and are manufactured for 12-24-36 kV rated voltage, 1000-1250-2000-2500-3150 A switching and 2500-3150 A main busbar rated current, 20-25-31.5 kA short time fault current values.
