ENAC Bejaia Desalination Plant Reaches Major Milestone (April 29, 2025)

We successfully commissioned the 220/11 kV gas-insulated transformer substation for the ENAC Bejaia Seawater Desalination Plant Project owned by Sonatrach. The facility will deliver a treatment capacity of 300,000 m³/day.

This advanced engineering project plays a critical role in energy supply security and sustainable water infrastructure. The GIS technology used at the facility supports uninterrupted treatment operations through its compact structure and high performance.

The investment will significantly increase the water treatment capacity of the Bejaia region. The project will also help prevent potential clean water supply challenges, especially during summer periods.
