EKOSinerji Continues to Play an Active Role in Algeria
The most rational and minimum solutions for Algeria’s energy distribution needs are being prepared by EKOSinerji. Given that much of the country’s land is covered by deserts, the EKOSinerji firm’s solutions solve many of the country’s transmission and distribution problems. Under the name of the SKID project, 25 sets of “Mobile Distribution Center” have been prepared, which can be set up and put into operation as a mini distribution center anywhere in the country within a day. The system includes 6 GIS cells in a portable cabin, and a panel for controlling all of these systems from inside the cabin or from kilometers away with scada systems.
EKOSinerji is the distributor of GE in Turkey, and GE equipment is used in all of its projects. In the SKID project, GE’s F650 and C30 relays, as well as the GPG (Gateway) system, were used in the Scada system with the IEC61850 protocol. Two separate factory acceptance committees authorized by the Algerian Electricity Company Sonelgaz were hosted in our EKOSinerji factory located in Balıkesir OSB. The teams first checked all the tests and production stages of the GIS cells, and then successfully completed all the system simulation (Scada + GIS cells) tests. EKOSinerji has developed GIS (Gas Insulated Switchgear) cells with local facilities, which it has been conducting R&D studies on for many years, and has contributed to our country’s know-how as well as creating a high-tech export item. As is known, high-tech exports make an important contribution to both our country’s development and balancing economic indicators.
